St. Ignatius Catholic School Years 9-13 students primarily sit external examinations every May and June.  Some external examinations are taken in October and November.  Checkpoint, International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and AS/A2 (A-Level) examinations are offered through Cambridge International Exams (CIE) and/or the Welsh Joint Examination Council (WJEC).

Students sitting Cambridge Examinations would benefit from visiting www.cambridgestudents.org.uk on a regular basis.
