Welcome to the ICT department!  It's the bits and bytes that form character!

NEW! Anywhere Anytime Learning @ St Ignatius Catholic School
Staff and senior students at St. Ignatius Catholic School are now able to electronically access school resources,  interactive learning materials and even print documents from off campus locations.  In association with IT Outsource the school has implemented an Anywhere Anytime learning portal that permits users to work from any computer regardless of its location.
It will be particularly useful for students who are preparing for examinations or doing routine homework assignments.  Commenting on the new feature, Mr. Gary Clarke, Head of School stated “This is a huge shift forward for us. The ability for staff to complete assessments from home gives us a great deal more flexibility. Staff can also produce exciting learning materials that our students can utilize whenever they choose.”
Year 13 graduate Stephany Durksen said “This has given the Sixth Form a fantastic advantage in our studies. No more jump drives or emailing work. It really is just like working at school from my own desktop.”
The school anticipates extending the programme to all students during the 2010-2011 year.
