NEXT MEETING: ALL ALUMNI (1971-2010) are invited to our next meeting on Thursday, September 16th, 5:30 pm in Loyola Hall. We will be making plans for the 40th anniversary school year!
St. Ignatius Catholic School now has an Alumni Association! We invite anyone who has ever attended the school from 1971-present to get involved. We want the Alumni Association to be about YOU! Please complete an ALUMNI REGISTRATION FORM so that we can include you in our database and keep you informed!
An introductory meeting was held on Wednesday, September 23rd for all those who graduated or attended Sixth Form between 1997 and 2002. An introductory meeting was held on Tuesday, September 29th for all those who graduated or attended Sixth Form between 2003 and 2009. A further meeting was held on Wednesday, October 14th from 5:30-7:00 pm in Loyola Hall for all those who attended the school between 1971 and 1994, as well as any graduate who was unable to attend either of the September meetings.
On October 17th we had an alumni breakfast at Guy Harvey's Restaurant on the waterfront. An enjoyable time was had by all those who attended, and we look forward to doing it again sometime.
Our fourth meeting was held on November 10th and lots of great ideas/events were discussed. On November 25th a Softball/Dominoes Social was held at the Field of Dreams and we are happy to report that everyone survived the game without any calls to 9-1-1!
Our Christmas social was held on December 29th at Sunset House. There were 23 alumni who showed up to enjoy some food/beverages, conversation and to share laughs and old stories from 6:00-10:00 pm.
A Happy Hour with Mr. and Mrs. Jarman was held on March 9th at Sunset House. The Jarmans were visiting Cayman for the first time in many years and they really enjoyed meeting up with a number of former students!
Our second Alumni Breakfast was held on April 24th at Guy Harvey's Restaurant. This is our eighth event of the year so far.
